THE HASAO MISSION
We want to enable vulnerable and elderly people from the Horn of Africa living in Ontario, to age in their own home safely with dignity and pride.
Particularly recent migrants, refugees and marginalized seniors that face
many challenges and barriers.
We want to collaborate with health care and social service providers, recreational centers, housing associations, financial institutions,
utility service providers and other stakeholders by establishing effective
linkages and partnerships.
And finally, we want to contribute strategies that provide practical solutions and remove
communication barriers. Barriers such as language, cultural and ability to achieve sustainable, safe, quality livelihoods for all seniors in our community.
